The Artquarium, Painting school, Gallery.
An oasis in the heart of Geneva where you can discover and experience the richness of the world of painting (shapes, composition, colours, etc.) while unleashing your creative potential.
The painting and drawing lessons are open to all students from the age of seven. We provide personalised tuition, adapted to the pace of each student. Our opening times are flexible and the lessons can be started at any time of the year.
The basics of drawing
Simple form construction; structure analysis; introduction to composition; activities and movements in space; lights and shadows; chiaroscuro, shading; the human body: the hand, the foot, the portrait.
The basics of colour
A modern and classical approach to colours, the main historical movements and their contribution to painting, the different materials: charcoal, red chalk, watercolours, acrylic and oil.
Composition
The use of the golden rule, geometry, rhythms and structures, analysing master pieces, an approach to the philosophy of art, the creative process.
